This award is for project managers from all sectors in the Benelux, including freelancers with at least 12 months of collaboration with the nominating company, who have led a project to success within the past 18 months, demonstrating exceptional leadership, stakeholder engagement, and impactful results.

Project Manager of the Year is awarded by threon, recognizing exceptional project managers across industries, bringing together the best to celebrate leadership, innovation, and impact in project management.
The Project Manager of the Year award recognizes an individual who has led a project to exceptional success. Nominations will be evaluated based on key criteria such as project outcomes, leadership abilities, stakeholder engagement, and the nominee’s overall experience. The final shortlist will be determined through a combination of public voting and expert jury review, each contributing equally to the final score.
This contest is open to project managers from all industries and sectors, both in public and private organisations. Whether your project is in IT, construction, healthcare, finance, or beyond, the only requirement is that the nominated project must have been completed within the last 18 months and in the Benelux region.
Freelancers are also eligible to participate, provided they have worked with the nominating company for at least 12 months.
Nominees will have the opportunity to gain recognition for their hard work within the sector and their organisation, strengthen their professional profile, and compete for the prestigious title of Project Manager of the Year 2025. The winner will also receive a €500 personal prize. Finalists and their projects will be prominently featured throughout the campaign.
